As a Limited-Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LLMSW):
I run a part-time private practice (Wednesdays and Fridays) where I see individual clients for therapeutic mental health supports.
Things to consider:
- I do not currently accept any insurance plans.
- Sessions are $100 and payment is due at time of service.
- I offer several spots on my caseload for sliding scale clients; these spots are currently full.
As a Limited Licensed social worker (LLMSW), I am under weekly supervision by a fully Licensed Social Worker for two years/4000 hours to earn my full license (LMSW). I also receive support via bi-monthly group consultation for I-CBT and am under consultation as I work towards full Brainspotting certification.*
As a Certified School Psychologist (SSP):
I offer: 1) Educational Consultation to families and other clinicians, and 2) small group training to agencies and communities
I hope to support families who are navigating the general and special education world to:
- review and understand current assessment data
- increase knowledge and awareness of services that may support the needs of their child
- acknowledge the deeply complex and valid emotions that can accompany disability discovery, educational eligibility, the difference between the two, and working with systems
- increase knowledge around trauma-focused neuro-psychoeducation
I hope to support other clinicians whose background may not include general and special education supports to:
- review and understand current assessment data, and how these results translate into multidisciplinary team (MET team) recommendations
- increase knowledge around DSM and IDEA similarities and differences
- other questions clinicians may have before/during/after communicating with schools and families seeking educational supports and services
- increase knowledge around trauma-focused neuro-psychoeducation
As a community trainer, I offer small group trainings on:
- special education eligibility and DSM diagnostic criteria: similarities/differences
- Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs)
- increase knowledge around trauma-focused neuro-psychoeducation
